TWINS!

Well we have some exciting news that we shared with all our family and friends yesterday! As you can see we are expecting twins! I know crazy, but we are so excited. Reality has set in for Scott but I still feel like I am in somewhat of a dream! Telling everyone was so exciting. We went bowling with all of Scott's family yesterday including his immediate family, grandparents, aunts and uncles and cousins! We started bowling and then told his mom and dad we had a present that we didn't get finished for Christmas so we handed them a gift bag to open with these onesies inside. Everyone was so excited. Scott's mom was running all over the bowling alley with them in her hands showing everyone! Everyone's reaction was great! Then we went straight to lunch with all of my family and did the same thing with a set of onesies with my parents(just a late Christmas gift). No one was expecting it! My dad got kinda teary eyed(loved it) my step mom was jumping up and down screaming and my sisters were all screaming and crying! I think my brother was a little shocked it was 2 but very excited! It was so fun! Then we had all our friends over for a New Years eve party and told them to open this present we got today(the onesies)I think everyone was a little shocked but super excited! We are so lucky to have so much support from our family and friends. I know we will have a lot of help when the babies get here! I cant wait. We are almost 10 weeks now and due august 1st(which is funny because that is my nieces birthday)! Now the long wait comes until we find out what the sex of the babies are! But we could not be more excited!

Blog Slacker!

For all of you who fallow this blog you all know that I am horrible at keeping it up. I keep saying that I will try to do better but as you can tell that is not happening. So on that note i will catch you up on the things going on in our lives here in the Troxel home. Honestly not alot has changed for us. Which i think no change is good change sometimes. I am still working at the salon and teaching swimming which definitly keeps me busy. Scott is working full time and going to school full time. He is now on the downward slope of finishing. YAY! We are so excited. So life is pretty much the same from last time I blogged. We have done a bunch of fun things since then and i am going to try to blog some of those. So sorry about the blog slacking (especially you Jenn, I know it keeps you awake at work to read blogs) I will try to be better(but dont count on it or hold me to it).

Labor Day Weekend

This weekend was a blast we all went down to my gandparents in Fairview. We spent the weekend swimming, golfing, playing tennis and card games, other random things and of course lots of eating. It was great that we could all take the weekend off together. Suprisingly enough no one got hurt. Well Eric did take quite the chunk out of his ankle while going down the driveway on a razor scooter. The boys were trying to see who could make it from the top of one side to the other with out stopping or falling off. It was quite entertaining. Jordan learned how to dive this weekend.YAY! We also discovered that Seth is secretly a proffesional diver. Needless to say we probably had a little too much fun but it was worth it!!!!(left to right: Ashley & Eric Doxey, Scott & I, Sara & Seth Homer, Brandon Pritchett, Jordan & Aubrey Rasmussen)
